How do we invoke 'vol' from within a startup script?

| Solution |
Do not run vol from the sysinit. At the end of the sysinit do:
on -t /dev/con1 setup_script
Continue the startup in that script, including running vol. There must be a valid entry in /dev/tty ( in setup_script do 'set -i' or 'on -t /dev/con1 /bin/ksh -i setup_script' to make sure that the shell is running in interactive mode). |
