Known issues

All issues that were reported during the Beta period can now be considered fixed unless they appear in the list below.

  • Contact Technical Support if you want to use a Fujitsu Coral-P graphics PCI card with this board. The Fujitsu Coral-P graphics card will not work off-the-shelf.
  • Some PCI cards (e.g. Ethernet PCNet 79C978 and ASUS USB2) appear to be incompatible with the PCI interface on the Motorola Lite5200 board.
  • The USB driver (devu-ohci-mgt5200) sometimes can't detect USB 1.0 devices attached via a 4-port USB 2.0 Cicero hub. (Ref# 17481)

Connecting the Lite5200 USB 1.0 port to a different USB hub ("D-Link DSB-H4 USB hub" Serial number GCH001101490, Version C1) doesn't exhibit the same problem.

  • The QNX Neutrino nicinfo utility may report nonzero values when the target platform is powered up with no Ethernet connection. The nonzero values have been traced back to the Motorola Ethernet driver (devn-mpc5200.so) not initializing all Ethernet registers to zero at board power-up.
  • The deflate utility is missing from the Windows host installation. Please contact Technical Support if you need support for compression on the flash filesystem from a Windows host.
