Configure Photon fonts
fontcfg [-c config_dir] [-d font_dir] [-G] [-S i|m|n]
[script]
- -c config_dir
- Location of the font configuration file. Default is $HOME/.photon/font.
- -d font_dir
- Location of all available system fonts. Default is /usr/photon/font.
- -G
- Update the global configuration files in /usr/photon/font. You must be logged in as root.
- -S i|m|n
- Specify initial window state (i - iconify, m - maximize, n - normal).
- script
- Name of the script file to execute that contains the font install commands.
The fontcfg utility is used to configure your fonts under Photon.
It updates per-user configuration files located in $HOME/.photon/font. If
the utility is invoked by root, the global system files in
/usr/photon/font are modified (you must also specify the -G global flag to confirm).

Users who use a personal font configuration file don't have automatic access to new fonts
when /usr/photon/font is updated. Once a configuration file is customized, it's
immune to changes made on the default directory. |
