When the screen resolution is set to anything higher than 680x480, only a portion of the "desktop"(screen) is visible. The screen appears to remain at 680x480, so only a portion of the desktop is displayed on screen. |
| Solution |
In your trap filea add a -F option to the modeswitcher (after the chipsbios.ms).
This option tells the modeswitch to run in CRT mode and disable LCD displays. The problem you are seeing is that your BIOS thinks it is displaying to a 640x480 LCD display, not a CRT (monitor). That is why in higher resolutions you
would only see part of the display. |
