We would like to use the QNX machine as a NFS client. Our NFS server will be a NT server using diskshare.
The QNX machine can ping the NT server without problems. However we cannot see or mount the harddrive. Why not?

| Solution |
The problem could be with the protocol. When a Windows drive is marked as "shared" it uses a Windows file sharing protocol that is not compatible with QNX. NFS is also a separate protocol. You will either have to obtain NFS server software or you can change both systems to use Samba. Samba is native to Windows NT, and there is a free version of Samba for QNX 4 that can be downloaded from our free software section:
