Yes, there are differences in the way the heap is handled in all 32-bit versions of QNX4.
In 4.23 it allocates an initial large heap and will not grow or shrink it.
In 4.24, it will dynamically grow the heap from an initial size.
In 4.25 it will dynamically grow and shrink the heap so it doesn't grab memory until it needs it and releases it when it does not. |
