During the install of the QNX4.25 All Products CD, it won't detect our CD-ROM drive during the hardware detection phase.
Our CD-ROM drive is on the secondary channel as a slave device.

| Solution |
Move the CD-ROM drive to the primary controller channel as slave, and make sure in the BIOS that it is defined as a CD-ROM drive and not simply autodetect. Also double check that the other device on its controller channel is set to master if the CD-ROM is set to slave.
Any of these problems can cause CD-ROM detection errors. |
