Issue |
While trying to mount a floppy by issuing the command 'mount /dev/fdo /fd', we get the error 'mount: mount() /dev/fd0: not a directory'.

Solution |
There is probably a file called /fd which is causing this to fail. Run the command ls -l /fd, if there is a file listed, then you will either have to remove this file, or choose to mount your floppy as something other than /fd. |
