The editors that ship with QNX4 are 'vi' and 'vedit'. Of those two, vedit is most like the MS-DOS text editor. 'vi' can be faster once you get to know it but has a steep learning curve.
For extra features such as syntax highlighting and so on, you can try vedit plus. It is available from the vedit website for purchase. Their website is at:
