Issue 1: Just what changed between Phindow 1.10 and 1.20?
Very little changed from the users point of view except for support of true color images and international keyboard/font support. There was some internal reorganization to align the source with the rest of the Photon Graphics source.

Primarily faster/better image rendering and support for high/true color graphics.

Issue 3: How do I upgrade my Phindows 1.10 to 1.20?
You will have to contact QSSL Customer Service (service@qnx.com). They will require the license number for Phindows 1.10. Once you have given this to them, they will assign you a new license for Phindows 1.20

Issue 4: phindows 1.20 requires a separate license.
Phindows 1.20 is the first version requiring its own license. The first time you time you run phindows, you will be prompted to enter a license number. If you are upgrading from phindows 1.10 you will need obtain a license from QSSL.
To get a license: contact QSSL by email at service@qnx.com and supply us with the serial number and password from your original phindows diskette. You will then be emailed a License, matching your serial number, for phindows 1.20. Note: you need to provide the serial number and password for each node of phindows that you wish to upgrade.
