We seem to be having a lot of unrecognized raw packet protocol errors when running the 'netinfo' utility to display network events. Should we be worried about these?

| Solution |
Unrecognized raw packet protocol errors can, generally, be ignored. It means that a packet was received which was not meant for the QNX protocol, or any protocol for which a raw application (eg. Sock[l]et) has registered. These are to be expected on a mixed LAN.
With recent versions of Net, 'Net -E1' will disable the logging of this runtime error. |
