The online help for pppd (the Routing section) states that ARP entries will be updated automatically through the actions of routed or gated.
What are those cases and how to disable it?

By default, the server will not proxy the arp requests for the client. The pppd option 'proxyarp' enables this feature.
(NOTE: This option is almost useless without the '-dforward' option on Socket) |
