Utility: CD Record (CD Writing Utility). This utility is part of the larger CD Tools package that is available from http://www.fokus.gmd.de/research/cc/glone/employees/joerg.schilling/private/cdrecord.html (cdtools-2.0.tar.gz dated 12/25/2002).

This distribution of cdrtools is meant for QNX Neutrino 6.3.x or 6.4.0. You can recompile the source on a 6.2.1 system if required. To install the source:

Download cdrtools-201beta-src-qnx.tgz.
tar -zxf cdrtools-201beta-src-qnx.tgz

Please read the notes in cdtools/README.TXT.

To install the binary package:

Download cdrtools-201beta-bin-qnx.tgz.
cd /
tar -zxf path/cdrtools-201beta-bin-qnx.tgz
where path is a path to where you downloaded the archive. The binaries are installed in /opt/bin, etc.

Note: You can change /opt/bin/cdrecord to be suid root so you don't have to become the superuser in order to burn CDs. Log in as root, and then type:

chmod u+s /opt/bin/cdrecord

File Downloading Choices Available

Direct Download	This will force the download of this item to originate from the global Akamai network of servers and will NOT utilize the Akamai Download Manager.
