Thread priority 255 in procnto   ________________________________________________________________________ Applicable Environment ________________________________________________________________________ Topic: procnto, thread priority SDP: 6.4.1 Target: All supported targets ________________________________________________________________________ Recommendation ________________________________________________________________________ The priority 255 procnto threads that can sometimes be observed are used for the cleanup for stale mappings. The high priority being used is a known problem in QNX 6.4.1 (PR70866) and it's fixed in 6.5.0 where the cleanup priority is now set to 1 by default, and is configurable. ________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: This entry has been validated against the SDP version listed above.
