  • Known issues

Throughout this document, you may see reference numbers associated with particular issues, changes, etc. When corresponding with our Technical Support staff about a given issue, please quote the relevant reference number. You might also find the reference numbers useful for tracking issues as they become fixed.

Known issues

  • When the Broadcom BCM91250A board is in Big Endian mode, it detects only 128M when the 2x128M of RAM is noninterleaved. If the RAM is interleaved, RAM detection functions properly. (Ref #17414)
  • The 64-bit PCI slots don't function properly. (Ref# 10942)
  • The Ethernet network driver (devn-bcm1250.so) may sometimes hang the board when under heavy load. (Ref# 16296)
  • The SMP process manager/kernel (procnto-smp) for both MIPSLE and BE core-dumps randomly. (Ref# 16503)

Updated procnto-smp available

We recommend that you update the 6.2.1 or 6.2.1B version of procnto-smp. To do this, download and install two new procnto-smp components (for MIPSLE and for MIPSBE):

  1. Log into the myQNX Account area at the QNX Software Systems website (www.qnx.com).
  2. Once you have logged in, select Experimental section of the Download Software area.
