nap()
Sleep for a given number of milliseconds
Synopsis:
#include <unix.h>
unsigned int nap( unsigned int ms);
Arguments:
- ms
- The number of milliseconds that you want the process to sleep.
Library:
libc
Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.
Description:
The nap() routine delays the calling process for ms milliseconds. This function is the same as delay() and is similar to napms().
Note:
The suspension time may be greater than the requested amount, due to
the nature of time measurement (see the
Understanding the Microkernel's Concept of Timechapter of the QNX Neutrino Programmer's Guide), or due to the scheduling of other, higher-priority threads by the system.
Returns:
This function always returns EOK; no errors are defined.
