Install and Boot the Reference Image

Platform-specific reference images offer a quick and convenient way to install a running system on a target board.

We provide platform-specific reference images to allow you to learn about and evaluate various features of the Sensor Framework for QNX SDP. To use the NXP iMX8QM-MEK reference image, you must download the image, transfer it to your target board, then boot the board. For information about how to do this, see these sections in this chapter:

Transferring a Sensor Framework reference image and booting the board is usually a simple process, but some additional configuration is required if you want to use cameras or sensors connected to the NXP iMX8QM-MEK board. For information about how to connect these devices, see Connect cameras and sensors in the Use the Reference Image chapter of this guide.
